Chicago born and raised, Kathryn grew up in the suburbs and attended Loring School for Girls,Drake University and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Woodbury University in Los Angeles with a BS in Interior Design.Later she attended ULCA Graduate School of Education and earned a Life Teaching Credential. She obtained her California Real Estate License in 1977.
A state certified Interior Designer and a Professional Member of American Society of Interior Designers since 1973,she worked on projects from Los Angeles to New York. In addition, she was the staff interior designer at Polo Ralph Lauren in Beverly Hills from 1987 thru 1989.
Kathryn moved to Los Angeles in 1971 and resided on the Westside until 1993 when she moved to Woodland Hills. Shortly after, she "retired" from the design business after 21 years to pursue a full time career in real estate. She joined Fred Sands Realtors becoming a top producer her second year in the business.In 2000 she was awarded the Graduate Realtors Institute (GRI)designation after completing 90 hours of classroom instruction in professional standards,contract law,sales and marketing, finance and property management.
Kathryn has been affiliated with Coldwell Banker,Prudential California Realty and joined Rodeo Realty in 2008.
She lives in Woodland Hills with her husband and a few cats.She attends Woodland Hills Community Church and is a dedicated member of cat rescue organizatons in Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley.
